From Uncertainty to the Team Asking for More Seats

Twenty hours of AI Maestro with Claude, and a sales analysis that went from hours to five minutes

The Challenge

Latin Health Group imports and distributes medical technology to hospitals across the region. Its market position rests on bringing in new-technology products that make procedures easier for doctors and hospitals, and falling behind on artificial intelligence contradicted that. There was no single pain point: there was an operation where financial, marketing and sales analysis were all done by hand and consumed the one resource that never comes back. Preparing the cash flows the banks ask for could take the finance team days, and sometimes weeks. Inside the office were directors and managers who had never used artificial intelligence, so any program that started by assuming everyone already knew what it was would have failed.

The Solution

Ricardo Argüello ran AI Maestro on site at Latin Health Group: twenty hours in person, split into modules by area, with Claude as the only tool so the team would not split its attention across platforms. The program was not taught on generic examples. Every session worked on real cases from the company itself, brought in by the person who does that job every day, until nine use cases were running in production. Latin Health Group started with five seats for the finance team; extending it to the rest of the divisions was something the team itself asked for, mid-session.

Key Features

  • AI Maestro on site, twenty hours in modules by area
  • Claude as the single tool, with no attention split across platforms
  • Exercises built on the company's real cases, not generic ones
  • Nine use cases left running in production
  • Coverage across finance, accounting, sales, logistics and regulatory
  • An internal champion named to carry the adoption forward

Results

The macro sales analysis Philip Unger reviews every month now takes five minutes and reaches the sales team the same day. Financial analysis that used to take hours, sometimes days, is prepared in minutes, and cash flows for the banks stopped being a job measured in weeks. The finance team began bringing management reports that did not exist before. The clearest signal was not a metric: it was that the seat expansion, from five to the whole operation, was requested by the directors and managers of each division rather than by the CEO.

Client Testimonial

"What used to be done by hand and took a long time to produce, the financial analysis as much as the marketing and the sales analysis, all of it sped up once we had AI and the training behind us. There was some uncertainty at first, because people did not really know what artificial intelligence was, but once they saw what it can do there was a lot of excitement and a lot of appetite to keep learning. And the truth is that I was not the one who saw the value in extending it to the rest of the company: it was the directors and managers of each division themselves. You can do good business or you can do bad business; if you do bad business, you can always recover. But there is one thing you cannot lose, because it never comes back: time. To another CEO I would say that if you really want an edge in a market this competitive, use artificial intelligence to make the most of your time."
