Reading, not alerts
Tender tools notify you by keyword and by category. IQ RFP reads the technical description of every item, which is where the real specification lives and where badly classified opportunities get lost.
Most Latin American states publish their purchases under the Open Contracting Data Standard. The data is there and it can be downloaded. What does not exist is the reading: sixty-page tender documents, technical specifications written item by item, and deadlines that expire. Most companies solve this with people, with keyword alerts, and with someone working through the portal tab by tab.
IQ RFP does the reading. It downloads the complete data series, normalizes the tables of tenders, items, awards and suppliers, and runs a semantic classification over the technical description of every item. This is not keyword matching: an item published under a generic heading still surfaces.
And it does the crossing. Demand in one country against supply available in another. That is the part no alert tool solves, and it is where the business is.
A case with processed data
Public procurement open data from one country in the region, filtered under a strict criterion to a single medical device category.
77
public procurement processes with demand in that category in one year
54
still open as of the cut-off date
150
processes the previous year: demand is continuous, not seasonal
0
suppliers from neighbouring countries registered with that state
Purchasing is concentrated in two public health institutions. A small group of local suppliers absorbs most of the awards. And there are processes declared void and re-tendered, which is budgeted demand that found no compliant offer.
Two sides of the same operation
Manufacturer or distributor
Your catalog qualifies for tenders being published right now in another country in the region, but you are not registered with that state and you have no local partner able to submit the bid. IQ RFP identifies the processes that match your catalog and introduces you to a bidder already established in that market.
I want to sell in another countryLocal bidder
You are registered with the state, you know the process, and you watch tenders go by that you cannot serve because you do not represent the brand or the product. IQ RFP finds you the supplier in the region, with verified product and willingness to stand behind the bid.
I need a supplierWe download the complete open contracting data series of the buying country, published under the Open Contracting Data Standard. No summaries and no general searches.
We process and cross-link the tables of tenders, tendered items, awards, awarded items, suppliers and parties to each process.
A semantic filter reads the technical description of every item against a specific catalog, under a strict criterion with false positives excluded. What a keyword search lets through, this surfaces.
We link each process to its buyer, its status and its awardees. On the supply side we verify company by company, against their own sites and registries, which countries each one actually covers. Crossing both sides is what produces the qualified opportunity.
How we charge
We do not charge for monitoring or for the analysis. IQ Source earns when you earn: a commission on the award actually obtained.
Tender tools notify you by keyword and by category. IQ RFP reads the technical description of every item, which is where the real specification lives and where badly classified opportunities get lost.
No national portal will tell you your product has a buyer on the other side of the border. That crossing is the core mechanism of the system and it produces the opportunities nobody else is seeing.
Beyond the tender itself, the analysis carries who has been winning that category, with which buyer, and at what unit price. You enter the process knowing who you are competing against.
The commission model aligns the incentive. We only get paid if the bid wins, so we have no reason to bring you processes you cannot win.
Latin America. The method is identical in any country that publishes open contracting data, and we hold counterparties in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and Central America. To be precise: ingestion is built per country and per category, and we hold one complete processed series in Central America today. Other countries get built when a concrete category justifies the work, and that takes days, not months.
In regulated categories, yes, and tender documents verify it inside the bid itself: commercial name, lot, sanitary registration, expiry date and product presentation. It is the first question we ask on the call, because it determines whether a process is viable within the tender's deadline or whether the registration has to be worked first.
On the award actually obtained, with the percentage and the base agreed in writing before any bid is submitted. No award, no charge. There is no entry fee and no subscription.
A service. We do not hand you a dashboard to review. We process the data, run the analysis and connect the two parties. What you receive is the qualified opportunity and the counterparty on the other side.
Portals search by keyword and by category within one country and send you an alert. They do not read the technical specification, they do not tell you who else can meet it, and they do not cross demand in one country with supply in another. That is exactly what IQ RFP adds.
We verify it company by company. We review corporate sites, public profiles and the buying state's supplier registry to establish each company's real country coverage. A brand sold in the country without publishing its distributor gets flagged as probable presence and drops off the list. The result is a short list of companies with product and no channel, not a list of names from the sector.
