The Challenge
Mundo Pet is a wholesale pet supply distributor in Costa Rica, selling to veterinary clinics, stores and agricultural suppliers across the greater San Jose metro area. Every order went through a sales rep: the customer called or messaged, asked for price and stock, and the rep keyed it in. Price is not a single number either, it depends on the list assigned to each customer, and a large share of the book buys on credit against a limit that has to be respected. All of that lives inside SAP Business One, so any self-service channel had to read it from there or it would be useless.
The Solution
We built a wholesale storefront in Next.js 16 that syncs with SAP Business One every 15 minutes and shows each approved customer their own price list. The catalog stays visible to any visitor, but pricing and purchasing require a session. At checkout the system validates the customer's available credit and confirms stock against the ERP before closing the order, so nothing gets sold that is not there. We added a panel for the team to edit the homepage and its campaigns without asking for a deployment, and a sales dashboard with Claude-assisted analysis for the commercial team.
Key Features

- Panel to edit homepage and campaigns without a deployment
- Sales dashboard with Claude-assisted analysis
Results
Mundo Pet went live in 2026 with more than 2,400 products synced from SAP Business One every 15 minutes. Its wholesale customers now buy on their own at any hour, seeing the price that belongs to them and the credit they have left, and the sales rep is no longer the only way to place an order. Delivery took 12 weeks.
