The Challenge
Noily's Window Treatment & More has been making custom window treatments in Guanacaste since 2006, working out of two showrooms, one in Huacas and one in Las Catalinas. Its customers are luxury hotels and high-value homes along the beach corridor, people who buy in English as readily as in Spanish. After twenty years of work the company had nowhere to show it: the catalogue lived in supplier PDFs and photo folders, and anyone searching Google for window treatments in Guanacaste found neither the products nor the showrooms. The problem was not only content. A portfolio of luxury hospitality and private residences is not published the way a builder's is: the owners of those properties will not authorise their spaces appearing identified in an online gallery, so the site had to prove the quality of the work without saying where it was done.
The Solution
IQ Source built the whole site in Astro, with Spanish and English as real content pairs rather than a translation applied on the fly: every product, service and project exists twice, written in the language it belongs to and with its own URL. The catalogue settled at thirteen products and ten services, each on its own page, and the gallery at twenty-nine projects titled by product and region, never by property. Technical SEO and the AEO layer were not left for later: the site shipped with a sitemap, with LocalBusiness structured data for both showrooms, and with frequently asked questions marked up as FAQPage, which is what an answer engine reads when someone asks about window treatments in Guanacaste.
Key Features
- Bilingual ES/EN site built on real content pairs, not machine translation
- Catalogue of thirteen products and ten services, each on its own page
- Gallery of twenty-nine projects titled by product and region, with no property identified
- LocalBusiness structured data for both showrooms
- Frequently asked questions marked up as FAQPage for answer engines
- Contact form delivered through Resend on a verified own subdomain
- Store finder with hours and locations
- Bilingual blog ready for ongoing search work
Results
The site has been in production at noilyswindowtreatment.com since August 2026, with seventy-six URLs in the sitemap and both language versions complete, not one primary and one trimmed. A business that existed in two showrooms and in word of mouth along the Guanacaste corridor now has a public catalogue that can be searched, linked and shared, in both of the languages its customers buy in. The gallery constraint was solved rather than dodged: twenty-nine projects published and not one property identified. And the technical base is ready for what comes next, because search and AEO work start on a structure nobody has to rebuild.

Frequently Asked Questions
IQ Source built the complete bilingual website for Noily's Window Treatment & More, the custom window-treatment company in Guanacaste, Costa Rica: a catalogue of thirteen products, ten services, a gallery of twenty-nine projects, a finder for both showrooms, a contact form and a blog, in Spanish and English, with technical SEO and structured data in place at launch.
Astro and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, transactional email through Resend on a verified subdomain, and deployment on Vercel. Content lives in version-controlled files, one per product, service or project and per language, so adding a product means adding two files rather than touching a database.
By showing the product instead of the place. The Noily's Window Treatment gallery titles each of its twenty-nine projects by the product installed and the region, never by the property or its owner. The luxury hotels and private homes of the Guanacaste corridor do not authorise appearing identified online, and the gallery was designed around that constraint instead of asking for exceptions.
The published catalogue holds thirteen products: Roller Blackout, Sun Screen, Double Roller, Triple Shade, Day and Night System, Roman Shades, Pleated Curtains, Fabric Curtains, Wood Venetian Blinds, Vertical Blinds, Sliding Panel, Retractable Awnings and Vertical Awnings. Alongside them are ten services: made-to-measure sewing, curtain cleaning, comforter and cushion cleaning, custom cushions, deep carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, upholstery, furniture repair, bedding, and interior design consulting.
