The Challenge
InDesign, an interior design firm with 20+ documented projects, operated a WordPress site that had become slow and unsustainable. With 6,754 high-resolution images, the site loaded slowly, maintenance was costly, and the design didn't reflect the quality of the firm's work. They needed a complete migration to a modern platform that efficiently handled thousands of images and delivered a visual experience worthy of an interior design studio.
The Solution
We executed a complete migration from WordPress to Astro, processing and optimizing all 6,754 images for web. We implemented a content collections system to organize 20+ projects by category (commercial and residential). The new site uses GSAP and Lenis for smooth scrolling and elegant animations that complement the interior design aesthetic. Each project has its own page with an interactive gallery. The contact form uses Resend for notifications.
