The Challenge
Galería Bogarte, one of Costa Rica's most established art galleries, managed their inventory of 400+ works with spreadsheets and physical files. Finding specific pieces, tracking commissions, managing artists, and presenting works to the public depended on completely manual processes. They needed a digital transformation that would digitize their entire catalog and operations without losing the attention to detail that characterizes the art world.
The Solution
We developed an ecosystem of three interconnected applications. The React search app implements advanced fuzzy search that finds artworks by artist, technique, period, dimensions, and more in milliseconds. The admin panel offers complete CRUD for artworks and artists, image management, commission tracking, and reports. The public Next.js gallery presents works with a museum-level visual experience.
