The Challenge
Baxter, a global leader in medical products, needed to digitize their internal innovation and workplace safety processes. Employees had no efficient way to report safety incidents, propose improvement ideas, or collaborate on innovation projects. Information was lost in emails and paper forms, with no traceability or metrics for decision-making. With over 2,000 employees across multiple locations, they needed a solution accessible from any device that unified these critical processes.
The Solution
We developed a complete cross-platform solution using Xamarin.Forms for the mobile application (iOS and Android) and a web portal with ASP.NET. The system enables employees to report safety incidents with photographs, propose innovation ideas classified into 4 categories, collaborate as co-creators on proposals, and follow automated approval workflows. The web portal provides management with dashboards featuring participation metrics, safety trends, and initiative status tracking.
